With a press release, ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) announced the availability in Italy of the ROG Cetra, the new in-ear headphones created for gamers. technologyify
Mobile gaming has grown exponentially in recent years,
thanks above all to the increasing number of phones capable of guaranteeing
fluid gameplay. However, the audio remains a fundamental element to be able to
enjoy a complete gaming experience. However, most of the solutions aimed at
gaming are on-ear, uncomfortable to wear on the go and bulky to store in
backpacks or bags.
Born for gaming on the go: the earphones adapt to every need
and to different gaming platforms thanks to the USB-C connector.
Advanced features: Ambient and ANC modes to pay attention to
external noises or completely isolate yourself.
Maximum comfort: replacement rubber pads and adapters allow
you to adapt perfectly to any player
The ROG Cetra earphones ensure all the typical features of
gaming headphones in a portable solution: incredibly deep bass and optimized
audio so you can hear every little detail thanks to the ASUS Essence drivers.
To ensure maximum comfort, the ROG Cetra earphones are
equipped with three ergonomic rubber pads of different sizes, three sets of
silicone adapters and a pair of foam adapters included that can be inserted
into the special case for better storage.
Welcome USB-C
The traditional headphone jack is becoming more and more
difficult to find on high-end phones, more and more devices are in fact
adopting USB Type-C, more performing in terms of charging times and transfer
speeds. The use of this connector allows the new ROG Cetra to offer extra
features such as active noise cancellation (ANC) and lighting of the ROG logo,
as well as guaranteeing support for different platforms, including smartphones,
PCs, Macs and Nintendo Switch.
Advanced features for calls, music and gaming
When trying to immerse yourself in a game, distractions are
the real enemy. ROG ANC active noise cancellation technology allows for
seamless gaming by eliminating unwanted noise around us. This technology is
aimed specifically at low and medium frequencies which help to eliminate most
environmental noises and is easily deactivated thanks to a special button.
If it is necessary to temporarily attenuate the background
noise, it is always possible to enable the Ambient Mode. This mode excludes the
mids and lows, specifically capturing the human vocal range and reproducing the
higher frequencies so as to allow you to be alerted in an emergency. A handy
LED also indicates which mode is currently enabled.
The controls are really simple: keys dedicated to the most
frequently used commands such as play / pause, skip tracks, volume control and
answer / hang up for calls allow you to have everything you need at your
fingertips.
The omnidirectional microphone allows crystal clear
communication both when you are away from home and when you are engaged in
intense gaming sessions.
